Hey, I'm Nate ( the guy in the black beanie )— the person behind Apex Aerials. There's something powerful about changing the angle. What looks ordinary from the ground can become something extraordinary from the air, and that's exactly what drives my work.

I'm a drone pilot based in Kent with three years of hands-on flying experience, specialising in aerial photography and videography across real estate, business, events, and landscape. That variety has sharpened my eye and taught me to adapt quickly — whether I'm capturing the sweeping exterior of a new development, the energy of a live event, or the raw beauty of a landscape at golden hour. My platform of choice is the DJI Air 3, a powerhouse camera drone built for crisp, cinematic footage whatever the brief.

Growing up surrounded by open countryside gave me a deep respect for the natural world and an instinct for finding beauty in open spaces. As an amateur mountaineer, those same hills where I hike and climb first taught me to see light, scale, and composition differently. That connection to the outdoors isn't just a hobby — it's baked into how I work and what I create.

Every flight is planned with precision, every shot composed with purpose, and every final edit crafted to tell a story that resonates. Away from the camera, I'm currently studying part-time at college with a longer-term goal of qualifying as a paramedic and working in search and rescue — a career path rooted in the same values that guide my photography: being present, staying calm under pressure, and showing up when it matters most.
